Our Review

Kid tested - and approved!  We received the Snug Plug n Play Kids Headphones to test out in exchange for an honest review.  As soon as they arrived my girls were fighting over who got to test them out first… and who they belonged to after we were done reviewing them.  The color options are great - we picked blue - there is a color for every personality!  I like the adjustable headband as it provides a perfect fit, and the ear cushions are soft and comfortable, protecting the ears at all times. Also, the left and right are clearly marked on each ear so kids can put them on correctly by themselves. I was impressed with the sound quality and they do a fantastic job blocking out background noise.  Both of my girls LOVE them, and we will be getting a second pair so they will each have a comfortable, quality set of headphoness for our travels!  We definitely recommend the Snug Plug n Play Kids Headphones!

Our Review:

LOVE. LOVE. LOVE!!  So excited to find a company that makes super cute, fun, eco-friendly musical toys for kids.  "All green tones® instruments are made with either chemical free Rubberwood or Mangowood, non-toxic glue, and water based VOC free paint. This means that they are not only good for the planet, but perfectly safe for children’s mouths as well!"  What an awesome company! My girls loved the toys sent to us to test (their favorite is the Mama Bear Drum), and our friends keep asking where we got them.  The mama bear drum is perfect for little hands, and makes a nice sounds with hands and with the stick provided.  My older daughter (age 7) even had a blast, and still loves playing with the drum.  These products make a great gift for the next baby shower and for a birthday.  I highly recommend products from Green Tones!

Our Review

LOVE IT!  We love Jammy Jams, Greatest Naps, Vol. 2!  Soothing, yet not too slow.  Not just 'another lullaby'.  I have to be honest, traditional kid music doesn't bother me - HOWEVER it drives my husband batty.  He would have loved this music when our first child was born.  But never too late - we believe in the power of music - and even our 7 yr. old is now listening to Jammy Jams at bedtime.  Jammy Jams isn't just for bedtime either, it's great to listen to when the kids need some down-time during the day.  And what a great gift for the next baby shower or little kid birthday party.  We highly recommend checking out Jammy Jams, for yourself and for your friends & family!

Daddy Plays: Classical Piano Lullabies

 

This is a lovely album of classical piano lullabies that is perfect to soothe and comfort expectant mother and her baby.  When baby is born these lullabies will continue to nurture the emotional needs of the baby and mommy.  What I really love about this CD is the classical element.  I adore piano too.  The entire family settles down when this album is playing.  Perfect for those who have a difficult time sleeping, a common part of pregnancy.

Some experts say that music has a profound effect on fetuses and that newborns can recognize music their parents played for them when they were in the womb and even perk up or fall asleep when they hear a familiar song.  Some also say that fetuses breathe in time to music they enjoy.
