Once you've downloaded the app, all you need to do is enter the camera ID, and you'll be set to use and control the SnugCam with your smartphone, tablet or PC from anywhere.

Our Review
Okay, my review is mixed. The set up is easy, and the app is a breeze to use. That alone is worth 5 stars. The installation instructions are clear, and if followed, you should be able to set up your camera within a few mins. I LOVE THAT! The camera has a nice feature allowing you to tilt the lens up and down, as well as pan the camera, making it easy to get the view you want. During the day the picture is super clear and bright. At night, not as much, but pretty good considering it's dark. The camera will switch between daytime and nighttime mode on its own. I wasn't expecting it to be so nice overall.
Another nice feature is the microphone, although we really haven't used the microphone much, for some people that will be a big plus.
The camera detects motion, and you can set up alerts to your phone or tablet. This is awesome, however, it says the app does not even have to be running for the alerts to come through; I didn't find that to be true. We don't receive alerts without the app running, and if you have a password on your phone, as soon as your phone locks than the app is no longer working. When you log on to your phone you have to reopen the app and reopen your camera. This is not helpful at night while sleeping, and defeats the purpose of having a video camera with alerts, to monitor your children at night.
I do have a complaint regarding the lack of information regarding this product. The box includes instructions for set up, but that is it. Once you have the app up and working you can figure out somethings on your own, but for $70 it would be nice to have a little information regarding the product, and how to successful operate it.
A small annoyance for me is I am unable to set the correct time. Regardless of what time zone I choose it's always an hour off. Not sure what the issue is, but for the price I'm guessing that the time should be something easy to set correctly.
Others reviewers have complained about the lack of security, and I have to agree that is a valid point, and something to consider before purchasing.
Over all I like the camera, but it does come with limitations, and a possible security issue. I would recommend doing your research prior to buying to make sure you know if it is a fit for you.
