Our Review:  

 

We were given a chance to review the Good Night, Sleep Tight reward chart, and this opportunity came at a perfect time for our family.  Our littlest one just turned 4 and has a rough time sleeping alone.  She has had many nightmares each night for the past couple of years, and those nightmares have scared her, making it so she won't sleep alone, this causing her to sleep with us on a regular basis.  However, now sleeping with us is becoming more of a comfort than a necessity.  We had a plan to begin the process of getting our little one back in her own bed as soon as the kids began summer break, and that is when the chart arrived.  Perfect timing!

 

This chart is great.  It's simple enough, but at the same time the stickers are bright and colorful so it created excitement right away from our little girl.  I love that the stickers are reusable!  We use other reward charts for different things, like extra reading, but they are a one-time use style chart. Total waste of paper and money, and as a Mom trying to only use eco-friendly products it goes against the grain.  So the reusablity factor in this product is a huge plus for me.  Also, the process for getting our little one back in her own bed trouble-free may take awhile, and it's nice to be able to start over each week using the same chart.  

 

The process of using this reward chart is pretty easy, and the chart chart comes with some great tips.  Before we began using the chart we talked about what the chart was for, and the items on the chart that we would focusing on.  Getting ready for bed is a breeze for us, so the chart is a positive thing for my little one as we are getting into bed each night after she gets all her stickers. In the morning we give our little ones the stickers to put on her chart after she wakes up - which she really looks forward to - and we talk about each item and why she isn't getting stickers for some of the items.  We "make a plan" as to how we can do a little better each night.  We have a ways to go for getting all of our morning stickers, but now that we are just getting serious I think this chart is really beneficial.  My little one loves every aspect of this chart.  And so far, so do I.  If you are looking for a sleep chart I highly recommend this reward chart from the Victoria Chart Company.
