Hi friends! This is Amber from Crazy Little Projects here to kick off the holiday season with a fun, cute and simple Christmas project.
I’m excited for the holiday season (truth is, I am already fully involved in baking, shopping, and crafting for Christmas!) – I love putting little gifts in jars and I love covering things in glitter. Put those things together and throw some chocolate inside and it can’t be beat! Here are some Christmas Treat Jars:
Once your red glitter is dry, wrap a piece of black ribbon around the jar and hot glue it in place. Cut a square slightly larger than your ribbon and cut out the center of the square to make a belt buckle. Hot glue that in place and then fill it up with candy!
These look fun to make with the kids... if you can handle glitter of course! Not sure I would use them for food treats, but super cute for a family craft and for decoration. My girls LOVE glitter - so guessing these will be a big hit in our house, well, that is until my husband see the glitter :)

But....We dont stop there! Whats a reusable 16oz clear glass spray bottle, without a reusable label? You can't relabel it with a brand new label every time you refill your clear spray bottle. Simply choose the label you like best from your choice of the included 4, stick it on your clear glass refillable spray bottle, and you have a complete reusable bottle, that can also be labeled over and over!

Our Review
The Glass Spray Bottles by Cornucopia Brands are great! Not only are they are big, the chalk label on the front makes them looks nice. These 16 oz. bottles make buying in bulk easier as you don't have to refill as often and buying in bulk saves you money since the packaging of commercial cleaners are not only wasteful, they are also expensive. If you make your own cleaners you will love these glass bottles. So far I haven't had any issues with the sprayers, which as been an issues on other bottles I have used.
SAVE MONEY by filling (and refilling!) these empty spray bottles with less expensive homemade versions of your favorite products: cleaning formulas, air freshener or deodorizer, garden plant spray, hair and skin care, natural pet spray, aromatherapy formulas, baby sprays, herbal sprays, plain water and so much more!
The 16 oz. capacity means more time between refills so it is easier than ever to DIY your favorite spray goods. I highly recommend giving the Cornucopia Brand Glass Spray Bottles a try! BUY HERE on AMAZON!

Our Review
The Glass Amber Spray Bottles by Firefly are great! Not only are they are big the chalk label on the front makes them looks nice. I used my new liquid chalk markers and the color pops against the dark bottle. These 16 oz. bottles make buying in bulk easier as you don't have to refill as often and buying in bulk saves you money since the packaging of commercial cleaners are not only wasteful, they are also expensive. If you make your own DIY cleaning products the amber glass will help protect the ingredients you put inside, and the bottles will be great for craft projects. The siphon tubes attached to the spray nozzles are extra long, so there’s no tipping the bottle to use the last bit in the bottom. The spray nozzles has three settings: spray, stream, and off. I highly recommend giving the Amber Glass Spray Bottles by Firefly a try! BUY HERE on AMAZON!

I recently came across a recipe from the Doterra Blog that I decided to try - DIY Hand Soap with essential oils. It was so easy to make (after I purchased my ingredients it took about 2 minutes total - can't really complain about that), it was inexpensive and I LOVED the soap. I liked it so much I made another batch tonight using Doterra On Guard (one of my personal favorites) and Peppermint oil.
On Guard is a blend of cinnamon, clove bud, eucalyptus, wild orange and rosemary. It can be used to address issues concerning bacteria, immune system, mold, virus' and can be used among other things, as a topical disinfectant.
On Guard is used daily in our house, and since we have begun using it faithfully we have cut back on illnesses that run through our house. As those close to me know my girls get sick a lot, and I use to get everything they came down with - a horrible, repeating cycle. The illnesses are now shorter, and not as often. And lucky me, I don't get half of what they get. Learn more about On Guard HERE.
Peppermint oil is used for a variety of health conditions and can be taken orally in dietary supplements or topically as a skin cream or ointment. The benefits are endless (it seems), so in an effort to keep this post short, you can read more about peppermint oil HERE and HERE.
Okay, back to the DIY hand soap by Doterra...
2 tablespoons unscented liquid castile soap (You can find it in some grocery stores, but if not you can always find it at a health food store)
1/4 teaspoon Fractionated Coconut oil (Buy at a health food store, or on-line)
10 drops essential oils of choice (Adjust as needed. If the smell is too strong lessen the amount. Or add a few extra drops if you like it a bit stronger. When I use peppermint I do less, when I use lemon or wild orange I use more. Play around with the oils, and make the soap your own.)
In this recipe Doterra used five drops of Peppermint and five drops of Melaleuca essential oil. I used 10 On Guard drops and 4 Peppermint drops.
Water
8oz. foaming pump bottle (Use an old bottle from your previous soap, or buy a new one - whatever you want that makes it easy for you. I used my old bottle which is just a clear bottle like the one in the picture.)
Directions:
1. Pour castile soap and Fractionated Coconut Oil (FCO) into bottle.
2. Add essential oils.
3. Slowly add water into bottle ~ making sure to leave room for the foaming pump.
4. Add lid and shake.
5. When ready to use, just pump into hands and wash with warm water.

**Making the world a greener place - one baby (family) at a time**
We use this Chest Rub on ourselves and on our little ones when they have a cold, or when a cough starts coming on as they are fighting off the latest bug going around. It's simple and effective. You can adjust the amount of essential oil based on the amount of massage cream or oil you are using, as well as how strong you like the smell. We use less essential oil when putting it on the kids. Remember to never put essential oils directly on kids without using an oil/cream/lotion.
