How to bake Pumpkin Seeds:
1 1/2 cups pumpkin seeds
2 teaspoons melted butter
salt
Substitutions: olive oil instead of butter. Experiment with different seasonings: Garlic, Seasoning Salt, Pepper, Cayenne Pepper - use your imagination.
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
- Clean seeds. Soaking in water will assist in this process.
- Toss seeds in butter (or oil) and your seasoning.
- Spread seeds on a baking sheet.
- Bake for approx. 45 -50mins. Stir once or twice. Seeds will be golden brown.
